My tank is 96" long 30" deep and 30" tall.

I have two stream 6305's, one at each end of the tank, and I want to set the contoller to have them create a small wave.

Can this be done in this set up?

Is there a better way?

thanks for your help and suggestions.

You can't generate wave with 7095 controller. You can use the 6091 but you will loose the directional flow. What i would do with that two pumps is place them at each rear corner facing across the tank. Connect the pump on separate channel on the 7095 and set the controller on interval II. If you want more turbulence flow, set it on pulse....

Stan,

As steve said the 7095 is not designed to create a wave using resonance, you need a very rapid pulse to do that. The 6091 (available now) and soon to be available 7096 will have this capability. If the 6305's are your only flow they are better utilized to create directional currents rather than a wave. Wave flow has no direction and should be used with directional flow sources to bring suspended detritus to the filters/overflows.
