Emergency Carbon Question Needs Answer Fast

I was adding new carbon to my carbon reactor and forgot to rinse it out before I turned on the pump. Now I haver a bunch of black carbon powdered water in my sump. I turned off my return before it got into my main display. If I turn it on and this powdered black water get's in my display, WILL IT HURT ANYTHING?

Many other hobbyists have had carbon from their reactor disperse into their tank with no ill effects. :)
