I was told to squirt Mysis at it 1-2 times a day while the lights are on, I did this and it has been over a week and I barely get a response. Any tips??
Thanks,
Mike

Any pics of them? Dendros should be open in the day. Where are they positioned in your tank and have you checked all your water paramters lately to make sure thats all in check?
Mine are out in full all day long and they sit at bottom of tank under a ledge under MHs. They dont prefer bright direct intense light since they are non photosynthetic .
Sun Polyps open up more at night than during the day, is it possible you may have them? They do look somewhat alike and some people will sell them as the other...........My sun polyps stay more closed during the day but towards the evening open up like crazy and come out especially under the actinic lighting.

I have the same problem. The first polyp I had stayed out for the first few days I had it. He then got hit with some salt creep I was trying to get off my hob fuge and he never opened during the day again. My second piece has grown a couple of new polyps but has never opened during the day. It opens up nicely after the lights go out. I got it from a reputable online retailer so I'm sure it is a dendro.

It is definately a Dendro. The polyp closed is around an inch. It is at the bottom of the tank. I'm gonna try moving it a little more under a close by ledge and see if it makes a difference. All my water parameters are good are good as well.

Never a given that they will open during the day. They are non-photosynthetic organisms, so it is no use trying to be open during the day when most food will be caught at night during the DM of plankton. This is a waste of energy. You do need to try and coax them out. I would say try and keep up with the routine.
