Just got a glass cages rimless cube today and it isn't the right size.
I ordered a 21"X21"X16" cube but received a 21x21x21.
The tank looks great but I'm not sure If I'll be happy with it or not?
So help me decide one way or another.
Thanks

If you got it for the same price as the other. You win, as its
more water volume, and space . So I would keep it.

Yes the price was the same. They just made a mistake on the size.
I'm looking at it now and it's just a hard choice. But your right it is more tank for the same price. Hmm.

5" deeper isn't going to make or break anything light wise and if you got it for the same price I would keep it.

Yeah 250w halide going over it so I'm not worried about the light.
Just hope the vortech mp20 will be enough flow because I don't want anymore powerheads in the tank.

i am sure the mp20 will be fine in your tank, tank is only 40 gallons...

Well I'll keep it then since everyone thinks I should.
Tell me if you think this set-up will be good or not:

21x21x21 cube starfire front
Solana stand (the tank broke during shipping I kept the stand)
Octo extreme 160 skimmer
vortech mp20
eshopps rs-75 sump
fishneedit 250w halide pendent
mag7 return pump

turnover and heat from a mag7 might be a little much but it will certianly allow you to plumb things off the return like a PO4 reactor, Ca reactor, NO3 reactor, whatever you want really...

I have a PO4 and Ca reactor I could use, that's a good idea.
Though the Ca reactor might be a little large for this tank.
What other return pumps would be better?
