a guy locally said he would sell me a red sea wavemaker pro for $50 its used but everything works. is this a good deal? how well do these work with hydor #4 pumps?

Alot of clatter on the koralias unless you use the airline tubing on the shaft.It quiets it down and they dont start in reverse, had a red sea on 3 k3s for 1.5 yrs w/out issue.
