are your radiata and antenna lionfish eating frozen foods? i would like to place an order for these 2 fish plus a few others. thanks- john d.

also the radiata and antenna lion are restricted on quarantee, but if they arrived DOA would i be refunded. as is reads it seems that on this fish they are covered by DOA, but not the standard 14-15 day guarantee right?

Thanks for the questions. Frozen food, probably not. We feed live brine and our own BZA mix here at the facility. The only frozen food that gets fed really is silversides, squid and krill but this is mostly to the larger carnivores like rays and eels. It is funny, but we do see the Volitans especially chasing our BZA pellets around the bottom of the tanks. We turn over the Radiatas and Antennatas quite fast so the best we can say is that they are at least eating the live brine.

Lionfish in general are terrible shippers. Once established they are extremely hardy and do wonderful in aquariums. Our packing process will ensure they arrive alive, and if they don't, you are completely covered. It is how they recover from shipping that will determine if they will do good long term. Hope all that helps. :)
