I have a coralife protein skimmer which has stopped skimming....it needs a good cleaning. What is the best cleaning method? thanks

From what I have read, a vinegar bath is the way to go... I am going to try it tomorrow.

How do you do that and what kind of vinegar?

1 gallon white vinegar & about 3-4 gallons of water. Just let it run overnight & it will usually clean right up.
