AC Jr and DC-8 problem with IceCaps

I have a AC Jr and a DC-8 with 250W and 400W IceCap ballasts for T5s.

Both of the ballasts have just shut off several times over the last week or so and do not come back on unless I recycle the controller. I have had them turn back on by unplugging the ballast and plugging back in but this does not work every time.

The AC Jr and DC-8 was installed in August of 07 without any problems until now.

Any help would be appreciated.

My 1st suspicion would be some electrical interference; have you moved any wires lately and if so try moving the ballast wires (especially) away from the control wire running between the controller and the DC8 and other equipment?

Neptune has some internal diagnostics they can walk you through to identify the issue; you might want to save yourself time and contact them directly.
