I have a tank with a wavebox at one end and 4 tunze 6055s along the back wall (pointing toward the front glass). Since my Aquasurf will only control 4 pumps, I have the wavebox on it's own controller and the 4 nanostreams on the Aquasurf. The wavebox helps to create a decent pulse, but it is not working to its full potential because my live rock dampens the pulse. The nanostreams are controlled so that 2 are on and two are off at all times. Here is the program:

If Timer DAY = ON Then TU1 PF3
If Timer DAY = ON Then TU2 PF4
If Timer DAY = ON Then TU4 PF3
If Timer DAY = ON Then TU3 PF4
Pmp MODE SD for PF3
Pmp Int 000/100 for PF3
Pmp OSC 20/20/00 for PF3
Pmp MODE SD for PF4
Pmp Int 000/100 for PF4
Pmp OSC 00/20/20 for PF4

It all seems to be working fine, but it never helps to get another set of eyes to give suggestions.

Mom always told me; "if it works don't try and fix it".

BTW; each of the 2 pumps are running the same profile all the time you can use the Tunze Y-Adapter and run 2 pumps on each of 2 AquaSurf ports (freeing up 2 AquaSurf ports for other Tunze like your wave box); I am doing this and it works wonderfully!

I never knew such a thing existed. I will order that y connector today.

Kenargo,

Here is a response from Tunze: I am not positive it will work with the aquasurf, I know the branch adapter has a some signal filtering and it may not work with another brand of controller. You might check if they make a specific AquaSurf unit. The signal strength is very important.

I am reading that you are using this with an Aquasurf with no issues, correct?

I can attenst to the fact that the Y-Adapter works with the AquaSurf, I own one (Y-Adapter) and have been using it for a very long time, running 2 6201s on each of the Y-Adapter ports.

Thanks. Tunze has them out of stock, but I found one at Premium Aquatics for $10 cheaper. It's on its way. :)

I will post a video later. I have this tank rocking.

I got the Tunze splitter and put my wavebox and two 6055s on one program and my 6201 and 2 6055s on another program. Then I just kept tweaking the timing until I started to get maximum motion.

PF3 is the Wavebox and two 6055s
PF4 is the 6201 and two 6055s

Pmp MODE SD for PF3
Pmp Int 000/100 for PF3
Pmp OSC 07/07/00 for PF3
Pmp MODE SD for PF4
Pmp Int 000/100 for PF4
Pmp OSC 00/07/07 for PF4

Thanks for the tip on the splitter!

Just a follow up.

Here is my wave program in action. I have a wavebox, 4 nanostream 6055s and a 6201 all on my aquasurf.
