micros vs acans

what are the main differences between micros and acans and how can you tell them apart, Ive read the skeleton is pointy on the acans, but how can you tell on a live coral, are there generalities like smaller polyps or others?

micros are "micro" or much smaller say thr size around of a pencil eraser or smaller and acans are dime sized and larger ,usually the acans have more "flesh"also. they are plumper for the lack of better words
