my clowns are doing this twitchy thing tward each other. what is that. are they going to mate?

Probably a submissive posture. They are probably figuring out who will become the female.

hey my my 2 clowns ive had for almost a year have started doing this thing where the bigger one will like nidge i guess on the smaller one and make it like twitch around. is this normal? Also the bigger one has gotten alot bigger in the past few days

That's common when they have distinguished which is going to be the female. They are nearing the part where they start to lay eggs every 14days.

Just because they are twitching don't start buying supplies to breed them yet lol. The twitching is a submissive action thats all it is. It means one is submitting to the other. Its a normal progression when you have 2 clowns in the same tank. It does not mean they are going to lay eggs. (I'm not saying they won't either)
