I just got a new RKL and was thinking about buying the ORP probe, but If I can't use it to control anything then I figure why bother knowing what it is.

Then I started thinking about a possible affordable way to manage ORP.

If I control flow through a carbon chamber based on ORP level could I control ORP?

Bad idea? Good Idea? Why?

Carbon does not impact ORP much. The primary use for ORP is in making sure you are not dosing too much ozone, if you choose to use it.
