How can I raise pH without effect to Akl by using Randy formular 1? Or what can I use to raise pH from 7.8 to 8.

My ATO is lime water right now, not sure because we 've been heavy cooking for the last 2 days....Thanks Randy.

More circulation will change the pH only if the tank is not in approximate equilibrium with the ambient air. If the pH does change with more circulation, it could go up or down. Opening a window might help. You could try the aeration test described in that article.
