I would like to use my tunze to control a peristaltic pump, has anyone done this? I was thinking i could use the lead that control the pump to switch a relay, allowing 110V to operate a different pump. Any ideas? Or suggestions for relays?
The main purpose for this would be slower delivery (i use a kalk reactor) and i find the tunze pump to be very loud.

Becareful ! tunze osmolator controller give DC current not AC ! if you use it for drive dosing pump( AC 110 v ) you will burn it !

That is the point of the relay. Are there relays that use DC to control AC lines?

I would be interested in doing this as well. I ordered a Tunze kit the other day and was worried that it might OD my tank with kalk. Recently I've been adding kalk manually. Here is a link to some solid state relays that will accept 3-32vdc in and switch 120/240VAC with your choice of amps. I'm trying to find a decent old school style on digikey or mouser

I understand that the question was asked 5 years ago but anyone who stumbles on to this like I did in searching for a TUNZE replacement moter. I found a cheap plug in relay that would allow you to use any pump. http://www.amazon.com/POWERSWITCHTAIL-COM-PowerSwitch-Tail-II/dp/B00B888VHM
