Over heated routine Question

If I use this string ( If Temp < 82.0 Then LT1 OFF ) to turn off my lights when the tank goes over 82, is there a way to keep them off until the tank reaches 81? The reason im thinking is if the tanks on the border of 82, the lights will come on and off as the tank cools at 81.9 and the off again past 82. I want to give the tank at least 1 degree to cool or is there a better routine for this?

yep, next line use maxchange, they will stay off for at least 10 minutes
