Hi,

Recently bought a up and running nano reef, but as I am doing more research it has some issues.

It's 10 gallon, with 32 PC lighting, basically a mushroom tank.

Was curious about best choices for controlling bad algae in a small tank. Hair and bubble as well as some unidentified

Did a large water change, now doing daily PWC and hand picking hair algae.

I have 2 turbo snail, cerith snails (unknown # from previous owner), marine snail.

Currently no fish.

Unsure what to use based on the size of the tank:

Lawnmower blenny
Emerald crab
SLF crab

would like a peppermint shrimp?

Water

KH = 5
Ca = 340ppm
NH4 = 0.5 = bad I know
N02 = 0
No3 = 0
pH = 8.0
Po4 = 0

suggestions?

I'd go with any sand sifting fish, they help and give you something different to look at.
