Months have been going by as I have been watching my chalices and Acans recede away. I've been desperately trying to find the culprit (all my parameters are perfect). I haven't seen die off, just receding to nothingness.
So, yesterday, I notice my largest hermit sitting on top of an acan and slicing off huge chunks and eating them. Taking a closer look at all of my recessions, they all look like they started out as "slices" that then healed back.
This crab has a new home now. It's called the bushes in my backyard and there is no saltwater back there.
