I have two bubble corals in the same tank. One is over a year old and big like pineapple. The other one is smaller and just added 3 months ago. The little one's tissue started receding from the bottom up until there is not much left of it then the big one started doing the same. I looked hard but can't find anything eating it even at night. Water params are stable and have been for two years:
Nitrate=0
pH=8.0-8.2
Temp=78
Alk=9 dkh
Cal=390
Mag=1200
I haven't tested for anything else for over a year.
