Can someone please point me in the direction to learn about sps identification? In other words, how can I find out the diff between a montipora and a millepora. Acropora vs digitata. I know that this a big question and there are alot of conflicting identifications out there, but where can I learn the generalities of what is what?
Besides relying on a bunch of educated guesses when someones posts and id pick. I have a good idea of what people call a millepora, and acropora, etc from looking at pic and seeing peoples varied responses, but is there a place where I can learn some of this without simply guessing based on what I have seen and heard on these forums?
thanks in advance for any info.

Also there is a Coral Id Cd by Vernon, but it is expensive.
You can find this series used from time to time.

Thanks Frankenpora.
Noone knows of a website or article that maybe talks about the structure of particular species or genus? Or what makes a millepora a millepora, etc?
