I just got my leather yesterday and it was folded over at the base. It was picking up and looking good when I went to bed last night. I wake up this morning to find it, pretty much, sawed at the base. I am not sure if a crab nibbled on it because it was dying to begin with, or what? It still has good color and will try to take a better picture in a second. The one I took didn't turn out worth a darn. Anything I could do like give it an iodine dip to strengthen it or let it run its course. Thank you!

Yeah, give it a few days to get adjusted. These are extremely hardy corals. You may want to keep an eye on that base though, you may have to move it to a different location.

It's base is completely cut in half. There is a baby coming out of the old base, and I am thinking of putting a rubberband around the messed up one to another rock. The half that was in the shade because it was bent over looks colorless and not doing so hot.
