I got a piece of long spine urchin in my thumb... and I was wearing the thick rubber gloves... went right through it. It’s still irritating to this day

These are the ones I have. They go all the way up my shoulders so I can get all the way in there and still stay dry: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=3871

I took a longspine urchin spine through those gloves and into the knuckle. Not fun to dig that out. Be careful. :)
