First let me say GREAT customer service. This afternoon when I recieved my order of livestock a couple of shrimp were DOA, But I called them up after trying to acclimate them anyway, and told them the situation......BOOM the cost was credited back to me. I ordered 7 different kinds of specimens at varios numbers. Acclimating them all at the same time was a challenge so I was mostly checking for movement, or stress. When I took a closer look at my sally lightfoot crab, I noticed she was missing one of her front claws and one of her back legs both on the left side. I checked the bucket and the bag and they were not in there. and the places where they were look healed over. So must have happened prior to shipment sometime. Otherwise the crab is in good health and has very good vigor. She acclimated well and so did the other living specimens. Thanks for the great customer service. :)

reefloverd1,

Thank you for your post and your compliments. We strive to have the best customer service in the industry and it is nice to hear that your experience was a good one. We sincerely apologize that a couple of the shrimp from your recent LiveAquaria order arrived DOA. Sometimes there are specimens that do not survive due to the stress, however, we send out the healthiest specimens available in the industry (http://www.liveaquaria.com/PIC/article.cfm?aid=146) and because of our excellent survival rate we are able to offer our 14 day guarantee (http://www.liveaquaria.com/general/general.cfm?general_pagesid=23).

We are happy to hear that the rest of your order has acclimated well into their new home. We apologize that the Sally Lightfoot was missing appendages but it should have no problems surviving in your tank. Please keep us updated with their progress. Thank you again for your wonderful compliments.
