So i just got in my Fiji pink live sand today and was wondering if i clean it like regular sand until the water turns clear, or what? Thanks

the bag says no rinsing, just pour in the bag. So, do i?

No. Just put it in the tank GENTLY.
Use a piece of PVC pipe or something and pour it on the bottom to minimze cloudiness. Your water should clear in an hour or so.

I would rinse with salt water (stir it up and pour off the cloudy water), it will help minimize the cloud you get in the tank.

I would not rinse new live sand.
A lot of your beneficial bacteria and fauna (if any) will go down the drain with that cloud.

You don't need the light either.
If you don't have a large PVC pipe, you can also use a large zip lock bag to unload the sand in the tank.

I would rinse it, it will still ahve alot of dusty sediment if we are talking about the dry sand

LIVE SAND IS NOT DRY - Dont Rinse it.
Put the entire bag underwater and pour out slowly. Any Cloudy water will clear.
