I have this weird algae in my tank. Its a burgandy color, and kind of slimey. sticks to all my rock and spreads faster then a $2.00 you know what. Any suggestions please.

you will want to post this in the General reef or new to hobby forum. This forum is for feedback and questions about the website :)

FWIW it sounds like cyano

I agree that is probably cyano.
Things that you can do to reduce cyano
Suction off what you can
Direct a powerhead across the area
Make sure you have adequate flow and circulation in your tank
Once a week use a turkey baster to lightly baste the substrate and reef rock in your tank
Limit the feedings of flake food
Rinse off all frozen food before using
Turn the lights off for three days after you have done the above--otherwise the cyano will come right back
