Andy,
You replied to my thread on reefland the other day and I am looking into the 660 to power my VHO's. I want to utilize this ballast to its full potential to get maximum use out of it. I will be powering (2)60"VHO bulbs, can I also power (2)96w pc bulbs? This equal 16' in lenght but I am afraid the wattage may be to much.
Also, can I break on leg of the lamp side of the wireing to run to my PLC controler. I am usuing a GE Fanuc PLC to control all my lights, ph's, etc and the way I have it set up now is by breaking one leg of the 110vac. If it is safe to break the lamp side then I can control (2) sets of lights on 2 diffrent times. One of these will be the blue bulbs of the tank the other will be the bulbs over my sump/refigium on opposite light schedule. Thanks for the info.

1st question, regarding maximum load, a Model 660 will power two 4ft linear lamps and two 96-watt PC's. The two 6ft lamps would be too much. If you wanted to use 55-watt PC's instead, then each loop of the 660 wiring could handle one 6ft. lamp and one 55-watt PC.

If you want to separately control each pair of lamps our shut-down circuitry will not allow it. If you want to have the ballast turn on and off by means of a controller, that's not a problem.

Andy, thanks for the response. I will have to do something diffrent to control the 2 sets of lights. I will look at the use of 60"'s and smaller wattage bulbs together. Thanks again!
