PUFFER ON LA (http://www.liveaquaria.com/diversden/ItemDisplay.cfm?c=2733+3&ddid=61374)
has anyone seen this one? I just thought it was different, and thought I would post it up here for my fellow fish nuts here on RC. ;)

There are two puffers which you don't hear about much: arothron immaculatus (the LA DD link) and arothron malinensis. I personally think that they're beautiful medium-sized puffers and neat alternatives to the dogface puffer in aquariums.
I've never seen one in person, though. If I had the tank for it, I'll take that Immaculate puffer in a heartbeat (especially with a price like that it's hard to beat for such a pretty puffer).

If I thought my dogface would get along with either, I'd get one of them. Does anyone know if they fight?

I picked up a 4" milanensis a week ago Sunday. He's in my 120 with my 5" dogface. No signs of aggression so far.

I had one of the narrow lined puffers before, it would squeak like an animal when scared.

That's unique Dan, can't say I've ever heard that one. How far away from the tank could it be heard? I know it's been said a million times, but DF's have alot of personality. Mine loves to play in the sand, he's the best sand stirrer I've ever seen.
