I thought it might be fun to see the contrast in between the two different styles of reef-keeping, and see some nice tanks that have been achieved in very different ways with both high tech tanks, and simpler tanks that rely a little more on biology and less on technology. 120gRR in the back with a 30g sump below it nothing fancy. water and lots of live rock and a seaclone 150 hang on protein skimmer. The small tank is a 30g it had 2x24"96wPCs on it with two hang on filters and a seaclone 100 protein skimmer

20 high with 40-50lbs LR, 2-3" Sand, 2.5gal HOB fuge and HOB Prizm skimmer. Lots of flow, and lots of corals

WOW, that looks like exhibit quality. Are you planning on putting any LPS on that nice sandbed?

Bump.. the last pic in last post is my 30g just as simple and plain. but yet grow so much coral in that tank too.
