I have to purchase a chiller for my setup and am curious if others can post their experiences with the one they have. I am considering the Aqua Euro 1/13 HP one. Here's the link (http://www.globeaqua.com/aqua-euro_usa.html) to one that I am considering.

I have a Aqua Euro for my BioCube. One thing I can tell you is that if it has a cooling fan on the bottom you will want to put it up on a plastic crate & put a small fan under the chiller to keep air blowing at the fan. I didn't do this at first, the chiller didn't get good air flow & it burned up.

Here is the set up now.

So, in essence, the chiller needs a chiller? that is crazy. What type of pump are you using?

The problem with the chiller is that the fan almost touches the floor. If you have carpet you have to put the chiller on a piece of wood so the carpet doesn't cover the fan. However the fan still doesn't get good air flow. But up on the crate works great. I'm making a wood cover to cover the blue crate. It will be a wood frame with tan cloth to cover the sides but still let air in.

As for the pump. I have a Maxi-Jet 900 in the right chamber of the BioCube. It pumps out to the chiller, from the chiller back into the far left chamber where the tanks return pump is.

I see, does the chiller perform well?

Also, the chiller does work good up on the crate so the fan gets good air flow. But the chiller stays even cooler using the small fan to blow more air at the chiller fan.

Yes, it works pretty good.

I have the chiller hooked up with water running through it all the time, but I mostly use a fan to cool the tank. I only turn the chiller on during the very hot times in the summer.
