Rock wall in established tank

I started off with a 55 gallon and recently upgraded to a 90. I purchased about 50lbs of base rock and wanted to create a rock wall. Is this something that I am going to have to cure/cycle before I add it to my 90? I assume the answer is yes but wanted to be sure.

i would cycle it just to be safe. especially if you are using any foam
