Love that aussie tusk!!! Nice tank! Hows the regal angel with the corals? Going to get any other angels to try out in there? I am experimenting with the worst angels for a reef right now.

I just took home a two inch emperor angel, a 1.5 inch two spot bristletooth tang and three cleaner wrasses. The cleaner wrasses went into display and the angel and the tang are going into QT.

The regal is fine with the corals but has strangly dissappeard for the last two days:( cant find her anywhere...

Another shot of bad luck... i am extremely pi**ed off with my LFS owner who decided to throw 2kgs of salt into his tanks to raise the salt level, then gets the floor chick to clean the glass! he raised his SG two from 1.018 to 1.020 in 45mins!!! so i get there and the emperor angel is just lying on its side on the bottom of the tank. An hour earlyer when i picked up the cleaner wrasses he was fine. im so angry, im am drip acclimating him to my QT right now and i dont know what to do. i reduced the SG in my QT to match his conditions as much as i could but my little angel is still on its side, i think its still breathing though. The tank however is fine and he is out of the same LFS tank so im just confused and angry... any tips?

yer the knobhead lfs owner raised the salinity heaps, way too fast. i have taken the fish back and ordered a new one. ill make sure i am called BEFORE the fish enter their shitty tanks

did he have the person raise the sg by adding RAW salt to the tanks? if so, he has no business owning a LFS. the raw salt in the water would probably be worse than the rapid rise in sg.

any sign of your regal?

Oh man that really sucks. That was really irresponsible of the owner. How are the other fish doing that you bought from him?

Wow, sorry to hear about all that! Have you found the regal? I'd look behind all the rocks, a big fish like that, if it is dead will take some time to decompose, even with a CUC, could really mess your water params up. Is there any other LFS you could shop at? I don't know why the owner would do such a stupid thing. Goodluck with a new emperor, gorgeous tank!

Thanks heaps guys, im so peeved about the regal still no sign an its been 4 days so ive given up:(

I think he added raw salt to the sump but im not sure.

the other nearest salt water store is 400km away but i like driving:P
