Romain Lettuce for tangs

My friend feeds his tangs Romain Lettuce. Is there any nutrition in there for his fish?

There is certainly more than in iceburg lettuce, but it still is very nutritionally poor for the fish. The best thing is usually nori or an algae based food.

Don't waste your time with lettuce. There are plenty of good tang foods on the market that are specialized and far more nutritious. I like to use different colors of dried seaweed as well as frozen foods for herbivores and corals which they seem to like.
