I've gone and enetered into a nano contest on another forum and want to make it an SPS tank. Will a 96W PC work? I've picked one up planning to use it for a fuge light, but plans have changed and if I can use it I will.

Thanks in advance

woops.

It's a 10 gallon that has been sectioned off so that the main display is pretty much a 7 gallon cube.

That's kind of important I'd imagine

From what I've heard, T-5's and MH are best for SPS. PC is for softies and LPS.

I knew that was the case when dealing with larger areas of water, but wasn't sure about a nano. Worse comes to worse I can buy a 150W MH and throw it over there...but trying to avoid spending alot of money on the tank (I entered in the limited budget category)....maybe I'll just make this an LPS tank and keep my SPS in the 90 and 50 LOL

When it comes to corals, it's not so much as the wattage as it is the intensity of the light.
