I'm building a 16"x 16" x 16" Starfire nano cube and want to know if it matters whether I use 3/8" or 1/2" glass.

Any thoughts?

My 15 x 15 x 15 uses 3/4" acrylic. I like the way the thick material looks (See gallery).

From everything I've read I would think 1/4" would be good enough for your nano.

Ya, starfire is pretty expensive, so I'd like to go thinner

the garf calculator recommends 1/4", but that's eurobraced....if going braceless, i'd step up to 3/8
