I just bought a 125gal setup that has everything for it to get it started. I have an aqua-safe systems RO/DI but it didnt come with instructions for hook up. I'm waiting for the piece that connects to the sink plumming, which i get today. Does anyone have installation instructions for it or could possibly tell me how the intallation is to be done.
Thx

RO installation is pretty simple

incoming water line to the RO system
outgoing water line to the sink spicket
outgoing water line for reject water

Yeah, I procrastinated for a month and when I finally installed it, it took 10 minutes. The hardest part is hanging it on the wall.

Here is a link about other people talking about the same thing. It should help.

Snag - you might want to download instructions to our 4 stage RODI from our website. That should help with the setup, including flushing your new filters. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to call/email.

How did you get that setup to not leak. I've tried 3 different "Y"s and everyone of them has leaked. Even one that looks like what you have.

Finally resorted to quick disconnect, but that's a PITA.

I have a similar setup and I fully expected it to leak - It didnt. I didnt even use teflon tape. If it did leak, I would have gotten a "Y" like PRDubois (mine has little valves I thought would leak) and use teflon. Tighten tight.

Yes, I tried teflon tape, a couple fittings, tightening it more and different washers. Still couldn't get it to work. I'm still working on getting my tank set up, so I think I'm going to eventually a cut a whole in the wall and just install another valve. It's behind the washer anyway, so a little drywall patch won't bother anything.

No need for teflon tape on any of the fittings in that picture. The seal happens at the runner washers - so either you were missing washers or the washers were bad.

Alright, it was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be.
Thanks to everyone for the help.

You're right, that makes sense. I think the "Y" was using was too deep and I couldn't tighten it enough and on the other one, it was leaking from the valves.
