I recently received a new radium bulb and my light is flickering. The color keeps changing every few minutes... My question is this: Do you guys use this bulb on your sunpod fixture without a problem? I am not sure if it is a ballast or a damaged bulb. I asked current, but they were unable to anwer this question. This is the respone I got from them:
Thanks for writing. The ballast inside this unit is a M81/M102 ballast-you may want to contact Radium to see if they have any known issues with this. Typically this type of issue would be with the bulb, not the ballast.

Just needs to burn in most likely.

I used a radium on my sunpod for just a little bit and it worked fine (it's super bright though).

That's what I thought, but it has been 2 weeks now. I am not sure if I should tell them to send me another bulb, or order a different one? I like this one...

New bulb. If your ballast worked properly with your last bulb, there's little reason to think it doesn't work now. . ..

I had the exact same issue. I purchased the Radium 150w 20K for my Sunpod. At first, I though it was a bad bulb, so I exchanged it at Marine Deopt. When I recieved my replacement bulb, it was flickering as well. You need to let the bulb run for a few days. After a few days, the flickering stopped. It is one great bulb!!!

Thanks guys!

I had it for 3 weeks and it was still flickering so I called them and I am waiting for a new one. We'll see... I'll let you know what happens...
