Couldn't beat the price. About 3" long and eats pellets for $28.....gotta love the local guy and his deals. Flame should be by next weekend, it is the same size as the flagfin and fat as can be. Beautiful. I thought I was going for one more fish, ends up I'm going to get 3.

Queen and flag are together in the QT and do quite well together. Queen munches up the pellets, flag picks up the scraps.

Can't wait to see how they do in the DT. I'm interested to see how the Flame does for you. My wife wants me to get a "red" fish . Apparently there is too much blue in my tank.

Nice man, those fish look great.

It's funny how similar the flagfin is to the goldflake, almost the same fish, and yet the prices are not similar.

That queen looks great.

Ha, so you end up getting 3 outta the 5 fish in your poll! Nice fish Dan! Can't wait for the flame! At 3" that will be a pretty big flame! Better start dosing some more vodka!

Are flagfins sexually dimorphic? I've got one that's a little smaller than this and it's got no white on it at all. It's grown in the 9 months that I've had it, but has developed no white on its fin.

Any idea which flavor yours is danorth?

barb, it is nice to see them both together in the 10 gallon right now. Queen backs up when the angel starts tail flapping at it. That tells me 2 things, the queen isn't a killer yet, and the flagfin doesn't take any mess.

Laura, thank you!

Recty, it is weird how alike they are. I like the blue mouth, very cool, and the little bright yellow flakes.

DPS, I know, I will be officially guilty of over stocking, but I can always remove a fish if need be.....and besides, who knows how long that blue line will stay before it goes ape in there. I'm still doing the vodka too in there too.

rss, I don't know. Got a picture of your fish?

trig, I am sure it will blend in well. Will be quite the batch of "aggressive" triggers, minus the undy, don't you think?

Yeah that will be a nice mix of triggers.I am getting ready to pick up a 4" blueline trigger in the next week.My lfs has one in that is mild and descent looking and the wife likes it, so it will come home soon.
