Well this morning it happened my RBTA Split. I don't know if was from it being sucked into the pump or it's just happy and decided to split.... Is this a good thing that this has happen or is it bad?

I guess this all depends on when he was sucked into the pump.

Hard to say. was he cut up or did you get him out in time? Usually they sl]plit when they are healthy or at least that is when mine split. do both pieces look healthy

When I got him out a few tentacles where cut but it wasn't as bad as it looked I might of saved it just in time... But right now it's look very healthy nothing out or the ordinary....

As long as both pieces have a foot and mouth then this is a good thing. Enjoy your new frag!!

They often split when they are stressed not because they are happy. I doubt the powerhead made it happy lol. Still good for you :)

I am glad you said that cause I had a feeling it did it because of stress... Especially being sucked into a Powerhead....

The Split has turn out good. The other half has a mouth in the center and is feeding.

Yeah that is what I have found too. When I went on vacation and my parameters went out of whack my anemone split. I think they do this to make there chances of survival greater. Good luck and happy reefing.
