i looked at my tank at night and noticed some wurms that are in the rock but when i shine my light at them they suck into a crevice. They look like wurms you would find if you dug in some mud. Are these bad because ive noticed some threads talking about flatwurms and how to get rid of them.

Can you get any pics, it would help tell what kind of worm you have. Most likely they are bristle worms.

99% of the worms your going to see are a good part of your clean up crew and nothing to worrying about. Checkout pictures of bristle worms and peanut worms, most likely you have one of these and they are both good.

Definately sounds like bristleworms you are describing.

Could be peanut worms. Do they look like this (http://www.pirx.com/gallery/albums/worms/worm01.jpg)?
