Heres a few pics of my Red Sea Max (RSM) 34 gal tank, I just recently rearranged the rock work to give better light to my corals (what few I have) from high to low in the tank .

The way I had it set up before I really couldn't put any corals mid level in the tank because the rockwork would put it in the shade.

So I had to change it around (again) And I wasn't looking forward to it, the last time it took about 4 1/2 hours, this time it only took 2 hours.

After reading ReefKeepers top 10 this week I wasn't sure I wanted to go through moving them again, but I did (I had to for the corals) and I am glad I did, I think its the best my tank has ever looked.

The first two pics are from today

This pic is what it looked like last time (with the overhang that shaded the corals)

and this is what it looked like when I first set it up, Jan of 2008

Looks good, I think the changes you made are great! I just got a RSM about a month ago or so. I am starting out slow, but let me ask you a question, those little white filter pads that you clean daily, where do you get replacements? do you order from RSM or have you found a suitable replacement?

Thanks, Yeah I started out slow also, this being my first saltwater tank and it being a little under a year and a half old. I only recently (within) the last few months bought 10 or 12 different corals for the tank, until then I only had about 3. lol

Anyways about the white filter pads, for the first few months I kept washing and replacing the white one, and it got pretty crapy real fast, so I started using "MarineLand Rite-Size Bonded Filter pad", the cut to size kind and it works great. You can find them online or at any petco or petsmart.

I usually don't rinse them, I just toss them when they are dirty, usuallly you can cut out about 15-20 squares that will last a month or so for about 5 bucks

Heres a pic of what they look like:
