I recently purchased a used grand rapids overflow on line that I got yesterday. It looks like all the parts are included but it does not have a manual. I like the design and the fact they say that it can not flood during a power outage and that the return line is conveniently located in the same overflow box. My question is for anybody who is familiar with this brand of overflow if it can be used with any type of sump or filter or if it’s meant to be used exclusively with ps2 and ps3 systems?? I have a home made sump I put together that uses a filter sock that I wanted to use this with. Any feedback is appreciated.
