Hello i just treated my 60g qt with prazipro. There is 1 small angelfish in it. Just in case of ammonia spike can i use products like seachem prime to help it out and not do so many water changes as i have to redose the medicine. on the label it says to use stress-x and cloram-x to treat water before dosing the medicine so i think it should be okay right?

I am not a big fan of any of the products like prime as a substitute for water changes.I would be very worried about the interaction with other medication.I am not sure if their would be a problem with mixing it with prazi but i know for a fact it is a problem with copper.I have never tried it but in the end i would rather just do water changes.Get one of the seachem ammonia badges and keep an eye on the ammonia that way and change water if you dont have an good bio filtration for your qt.

I know prime and copper don't mix. I think your ok with prazipro and prime but still, I would just do water changes instead, a lot safer IMO.

I would also do a water change and then add the amount of medicine equal to the water volume you changed.
