I am curious how many of you are using carbon in your tanks? If so often and for how long are you using it. Thanks.

I run it on occasion to polish the water, but many use carbon filtration all the time. When I do use it, I change it out about once every 4 weeks.

I hav it in my sump and I change it every four weeks. I was just curious if I actually needed it or not.

I've tried with and without carbon and it seems that everything is doing a little better with carbon. I run half of the recommended amount all the time and change it every month.

I'm with Micheal, I run it & change it every 2 weeks like clockwork. i would rather do it too often as opposed to not often enough....
