ARM fine here. It melts pretty easy.

I supplement mag when I do water changes.

A second for ARM. I use the coarse stuff. It doesn't clog as easily as the fine.

I'll never use Rowalith again. It's dirty and it does not all dissolve which obviously means it's not all aragonite or calcium carbonate. I still have at least a few cups in the bottom of my reactor from two years ago that has never dissolved. I use Carib Sear ARM large media but will be buying Taiwan Gravel #15 from:

I just don't see the point of trying to save a few dollars on reactor media. You only have to add the stuff what, once or twice a year?

I went with ARM because it supposedly has lower phosphate content.

ARM Course, not the "sand like" ARM, the one thats made of whole pieces of coral.

The stuff in the link is the exact same stuff but it's not called reactor media which would make it so much more "special" and they would then charge you an ARM and a leg for it
