can these two grow together without hurting each other? I have some that are about to touch. Thanks for any information

Touching is fine, what you have to worry about is if you get 1 species that is very invasive in growth. Starts to out compete the other polyp for space and start to SHADE the other polyps. NO light means NO FOOD = deatht the other polyps.

You should be wary though of parazoanthids. Some like the yellows can sting palys and zoas and I've even had to rip them out because they were literally growing on and over my zoanthids.

Those typical yellow ones are one of the most invasive polyps that I've seen.
