Hi guys I'm having a problem with my return pump blowing lots of mini bubbles into my tank. My buddy was going to let me borrow an extra mag 9.5 as a return pump, but my only concern is the bolts are rusted and I have a mixed reef set up. Would this be safe for about a week until I get my new pump? Its going on a 75g long tank as well. If anyone knows how to stop the bubbles let me know. FYI it has plenty on water in the sump.

are there bubbles going into pump? do you have a bubble trap? is your return line fully sealed? (sometimes if there is a small hole, it can create bubbles)

Yes it will be fine. Does the pump run wide open or a ball valve used?

if you are 100% sure theres no bubbles in the sump, then theres a hole in the plumbing, if not that either..
my guess is that a filter bag on the inlet would cure your issue.
