I have a 38 gallon with a 10 gallon sump, it is going to be a seahorse tank. Anyone using the tunze & if so any opinions will be welcome....thanks.

Are you referring to the Tunze DOC 9002? I've been using it for the past 2 years and it performs okay. It's very quiet and easy to maintain. The only thing is you have to make sure your water level doesn't fluctuate. I'm going to switch over to the new Euro Reef Nano Skimmer pretty soon as it seems to perform better.

Yes I was referring to that one, thanks for the input. Anyone else?

For the footprint is pretty good like thin mentioned. It takes out some semi smelly gunk. Sure it wont compare to a skimmer like the Remora HOB, but sure kicks the Bakpaks rear.

I also have one and like it was stated it does pretty good. But you need to keep the water level stable or it goes whack. I actually empty my cup about every 3 days and its a pretty dark in color.
