Hello everyone,
today I have noticed some hair algae at the top of the tank. Its green, like grass. I am running GFO in the tank, and I am using RODI water. Is it normal for tanks to go through this when first set up? I was told the brown patches on the sand were diatoms. The tank is 20 gallons. Are there any CUC inparticular that will clean up the hair algae?

Thanks.

Still cycling? Mehh dont worry about it. I found that it comes and goes in my tank. While I never introduced a CUC(only 6 nass. snails), I do have a ton of critters(stars, snails, spaghetti worms, etc.) that wont stop reproducing. I like to thank them for keeping my glass clean. :D

What do your spaghetti worms look like? I am having these little white things on my glass as well. A round head. and then split feet at the bottom. Is that what yours look like? They are almost a clear white?
