Very nice for a first setup! i really like your live rock. how do you like the aquac remora? does it pull out a lot of stuff?

Good start but I'll make two suggestions.

Put someting on the back of the tank to hide equipment. Since it's already set up I'd suggest window tint.

Get a surface skimmer or something else to hide that Maxijet. Not only will it hide that big powerhead but you'll also remove any protein slick on the surface of the water.

that skimmer is just a temporary one from my brothers old 55g and although its works out really well for this size tank (obviously) ill soon be getting a nano skimmer, any suggestions for a nice skimmer for my size tank? and yes, that skimmer is a beast, its just a little overkill for this size tank imo

and i have looked into blacking out the back. window tint sounds like a great idea

next steps are to get some crabs and snails, something to put on top of it because its open atm then wait for the brown algae to run its course
