GRRRR... 3 more weeks for my tank

Finally got a straight answer about my tank that in THEORY shipped Friday. It didn't. In fact the 750 is not even close to done.

I suppose in a way its good because my new fish room isn't done either, but I have some medical issues I have to deal with soon, and at this rate I'll be recovering from surgery and not able to stand, let alone be able to get the tank unloaded and on to my trailer to get home. Haven't actually figured out how I'm moving it past there yet...

Everything is in the new sump, and I've only lost 2 corals and no fish so far. Corals were my fault.. fell between some rocks and I didn't even notice until I moved everything out of the 55 in to the new 300 gallon sump.

Why do these places always set dates they know dang well they won't keep..

I'd rather not bad mouth them yet... I just needed to vent a bit. I'm sure many here understand how it feels when your little slice of ocean is scattered about your living room in buckets, trash cans, and old fish tanks... Suffice to say a well known tank builder that isn't trashed on forums very often that I have seen..

i had the same instance happen to me. i ordered mine on january 14th and was told their standard 8-10 weeks answer that they apparently tell everyone. mine will be here friday 2 1/2 months later then it was suppose to be.

Hopefully they are reputable, I saw a thread a few months back about somebody who ordered and paid up front with credit card. After the dispute period was up, the company went bankrupt without delivering the tank or notifying the customer and they had no recourse.

The new ship date is may 27th. If its not here by the first week in June I will file a dispute with the credit card company and they can sort it out with them.
