Elos 70 stand.

Hi there, I was wondering about the Elos 70 stand ( the 55 gallon tank, I believe), does the stand come in black by any chance? I know I could paint it, but over time it chips so....yeah The white would just stick out a lot in my room. Also on the Elos website it says I have to log in to check the price of the Elos 70, where do you register to be able to log in? It is probably right in front of my face, I just can't see it, lol. Thank you!

Standard Elos cabinets are bone color. If you want the black cabinet, you have to special order it. I ordered the black cabinet for my Elos 120XL, and I think that it looks great. You can not log in to the Elos website for pricing. Jesse can provide you pricing, if you give him a call.

Okay, thank you steelersfan. From everywhere I have looked everyone loves, I mean LOVE their Elos tanks. How do the skimmer and the lights perform? I'm not sure if you are using the skimmer that came with it or not, and I also have some sps corals in my tank right now, and I calculated the watts per gallon on the wattage on the highest one and it would be a little overkill and one was about 5 or so watts per gallon along with the T-5s. I have never had T-5s so I don't know if you can throw the watts per gallon scale out the window with them or what. Any input would be very much appreciated.

As far as the tank and stand, it looks awesome. I am in the process of setting up my system. I only purchased the Elos 120XL, custom cabinet, Elos light brackets, and Elos Osmocontroller II from Elos USA. I went a different direction with lighting, skimmers, and so on. I am sure that other people will give you feedback on their skimmers and lighting.
